Hole Description

From a golfers’ perspective, Hole #1 is a healthy starting hole. Youth golfers playing from the black tees face a fun challenge: carrying a bunker 50-75 yards directly ahead of the tee. Youth players unable to carry the bunker can hit to a safe landing area to the right.

Right from the get-go, the golfer really gets a feel for the Scottish-style golf course, with native prairie grass lining the right side of the fairway. Any golfer who attempts to hit from the back tees will face one of many forced carries on the course. Hit the ball well or you will be in a lot of trouble. The approach shot is into a narrow and deep green with sand on the front left and right.
