Hole Description

Much of the difficulty on #8 comes in the pin placement. Right is tougher because of the guarding bunker; left is easier with more green to work with. The green has little depth, so while short, tee shots need precision. This is the first hole that allows junior golfers to make a risk/reward decision from the black tees — hit to carry the hazard, or play safe to the left. While just a short drive off the black tee, the experience of hitting across a hazard is important for juniors to master.
