The second annual Town Hall Team Time Trial was held Sunday, August 12, 2007 under sunny skies and an annoying NW wind. (Annoying on the northbound legs, anyway.) In any event, it was a beautiful day to be out riding with teammates who can share the work. Twenty one (21) teams raced the 41.34k course in three classes: Men's Open, Men's 160+ and Women's Open.

The 2007 Men's Open bragging rights for best team time were won by the (Flanders) A Team of David Zimmerman, Scott Flanders, Adam Froeming, and Michael Woell. The Brone's Bike Shop Team from the LaCrosse (Wisconsin) Area was only 19 seconds in arrears for second place with Grandstay at +37 seconds. Excellent times all!

Perhaps the biggest story of the day, however, was the time posted in the Men's 160+ category by the Grand Performance 192 team of Dan Casebeer, John Redmond, John Shishulla, and Charlie Townsend. They posted the best time in the Men's 160+ category which was one measley second off the (Flander's) A Team time. (Being an old guy, I love it when the older guys do well.)

A scratch team of women from Birchwood and Silver Cycling, including Margot Herman, Linda Sone, Jeannette Sample, and Camilla Schmitz, posted the best time in the Women's Open category. Runners up were the Pushing 200 team. (Think combined age.) With more women's teams we might be able to do a Women's 160+ category.
