BLAINE, Minn. (June 28, 2012) – The National Sports Center (NSC) in Blaine announces an exciting new event to be held at Schwan Center on the NSC campus. The Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo will utilize the new Sports Expo Center as well as the already existing Schwan Center, November 16-18, 2012.
This three day, pre-season event will be inexpensive for both the vendor and the customer, with the benefit of free parking and tackle at pre-season prices. The event will serve as a one stop shop, as all its guests can purchase their equipment at one venue, instead of spending the time to visit many retail stores.
“The Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo will bring fisherman right into our brand new Sports Expo Center, where they can buy all their tackle at pre-season prices with the added savings of free parking here at the National Sports Center,” said Campus Development Manager, Greg Savino. “The timing of our ice fishing expo will allow our guests to ensure they have everything they need before there is ice on the lakes this winter.”
The Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo is third in a series of NSC-owned outdoor sports expos that include the Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo, which has been held at the NSC in 2011 and 2012, as well as the Minnesota Angling Expo, which premiered as the Minnesota Bass Expo in 2012.
