Sport Ngin provides full suite of technology that will be used to manage the U.S.’s largest soccer tournament
Blaine, Minn. (January 17, 2013) -- Sport Ngin, the leading platform for amateur-sport management, and National Sports Center (NSC), the world’s largest amateur sport facility, today announced that Sport Ngin has been selected as the presenting sponsor for Schwan’s USA CUP, the largest annual event held at the NSC. Sport Ngin will be the exclusive technology platform to manage the 1,000-team tournament, as well as the hundreds of NSC-run tournaments and programs every year.
“With the ever-increasing demands associated with both facilities and tournament management, we really wanted to deploy a single, unified technology platform to easily and comprehensively manage the complexities associated with overseeing facilities, tournaments, and communications,” said Schwan’s USA CUP Director Kara Radeke. “We’ve already benefitted greatly from a state-of-the-art Web presence through Sport Ngin. With this expanded partnership, we look forward to tapping into the sophisticated functionality of Sport Ngin to manage our facilities and tournaments as well.”
Sport Ngin will manage the registrations of more than 950 teams for the tourney, who will be scheduled to play on the facility’s 46 grass fields. Sport Ngin will also manage game scheduling, referee scheduling and other operations for the tournament.
“Organizations overseeing sport teams, events, and facilities need powerful technology that leverages digital capabilities that are now a part of our everyday lives,” said Justin Kaufenberg, chief executive officer of Sport Ngin. “At the same time, it’s very important that the technology be easy and intuitive for volunteers and staff to use. Sport Ngin responds by consolidating, simplifying, and streamlining administrative processes that ultimately deliver world-class, branded websites and expand participation, registration, and audience engagement. We’re very pleased to showcase the Sport Ngin capabilities at Schwan’s USA CUP and to sponsor the event.”
