Update from the City of Blaine on the 105th Ave NE reconstruction project:

During the week of October 2-6, the contractor will be finishing up the concrete curb and gutter on the south side and will start to back fill the curb.  They will also start to prepare the aggregate base in preparation for the bituminous paving.

Next week the contractor is scheduled to pave the first lift of bituminous on the south side, along with grading for the sidewalk and trail on the south side.

The main access to the National Sport Center from 105th Avenue will be restricted to right-in/right-out movements during this period. Continue to expect minor traffic delays along the entire project corridor.

Access to the Victory Links Golf Course and the fields north of 105th remain open.

Please be reminded that the speed limit along 105th Ave NE is 30 m.p.h.
