Here is the weekly update on the 105th Ave NE reconstruction project.

This week the contractor was able to finish the concrete sidewalks along the south side or the roadway.  They will also begin to finish grade the boulevards on the south side of the road in preparation for seed and mulch.

Next week the contractor is scheduled to install the seed and mulch on the boulevards on the south side and to switch traffic to the south lanes.  They will also remove the pavement from the north side to begin construction on the north side of the roadway.

Drivers should expect minor delays during the traffic switch.

Since the paving of the Davenport/105th Ave NE intersection, north-south traffic flow on Davenport has improved.

Here is the update on NSC campus access:

All access to the north-side fields is open and unchanged.

There are two access points off 105th Ave NE: 1) into and out of the Victory Links Golf Course, and 2) into the Schwan Super Rink and Welcome Center lots. This is a right-in, right-out road.

The access road off Davenport St. north of the Velodrome is fully open and is a good way to access the Welcome Center and Schwan Super Rink lot.

The access road off Davenport St. south of the Velodrome is open to Parking Lot A (on the site of the old U3 field.) This is the parking lot to use for all Sports Hall activities. Lot B is closed temporarily due to construction on the C fields.

The access road between the stadium and the C fields is temporarily closed due to construction. It should open sometime during the week of October 30.
