A showcase tournament for elite level teams seeking top flight competition

This tournament is recommended for those teams seeking competition against top level teams. Teams that are US Club from out of state, NPL and ECNL are eligible to compete.

Champions in U11-U17 receive free entry to US Club Soccer Regionals in Chicago, Illinois.

U11-U17 Tournament Features

  • Champions of each flight, U11-U17, receive a free entry to the 2017 US Club Soccer Regionals in Chicago, Illinois 
  • Played on the grass fields of the world's largest soccer complex
  • Super Group Flight offered
  • World Cup groups, top teams advance to playoff round
  • Three FIFA regulation-length games guarantee
  • Three-person referee system (U10-U17)
  • U11-U12 will play 9v9 format
  • U13-17 will play11v11 format
  • U12-U17 teams should be prepared to play games starting Friday morning
  • U11 teams should be prepared to play games starting Saturday morning


Each player who is on the first or second place team will receive a medal and the coach will receive a trophy.

Tournament Fees

  • ​U11-U17: $650
  • Refund Policy
    • Teams dropping from the tournament prior to May 6 will receive a voucher in the amount of the tournament fees. The voucher may be used by any team in any age group within the club. The voucher is valid and can be used for the following outdoor NSC tournaments and does not include Schwan's USA CUP or Schwan's USA CUP Weekend. Using the voucer is based on availavility and does not guarantee acceptance into the event.

      • 2017 NSC Fall Cup October 7-8
      • 2018 NSC Kick-Off Challenge April 27-29
      • 2018 NSC Spring Cup May 5-6
      • 2018 MN US Club Cup May 25-28
      • 2018 NSC CUP May 26-28
    • Teams dropping from the tournament prior to May 22 that win or advance in their respective USYS State Cup tournament, will be given a full refund but the request must be submitted by the end of business May 22.
    • After May 22, no voucher or refund will be given to teams.

  • 2016 Minnesota US Club Cup Rules
  • Updated March 2016. In the U11 age group, when a player deliberately heads the ball in a game, an indirect free kick (IFK) should be awarded to the opposing team from the spot of the offense. If the deliberate header occurs within the goal area, the indirect free kick should be taken on the goal area line parallel to the goal line at the point nearest to where the infringement occurred. Players should not be given a red card by heading the ball off of the goal line, this should be awarded with an indirect free kick as stated above.

Attention State Cup Participants

Apply early and if your team wins or advances in your USYS State Cup then the team will be issued a full refund. This request must be submitted prior to May 22 to receive a refund.
