Current Weather

It's true. We live in Minnesota, which means if we want to play soccer, we're going to be indoors from November to April. Our indoor soccer league gives you three separate sessions to make sure your game stays in tune during the long winter.

League Features

  • Played in the NSC Sports Hall on infill turf
  • No boards
  • 6v6 small-sided games
  • Game times will be 50 minutes in length (25 minute halves)
  • Eight games guaranteed for adults (Session I, II & III) and youth (Session II & III); six games guaranteed for youth (Session I only)
  • One referee per game
  • Verify player’s age using the age grid. Remember: the oldest player on your team determines the age group.
  •  **Note that the league is using the 2017 MYSA Season Birth Year Age Grid
  • If an age division does not fill, teams will be given the opportunity to move to the next comparable division.
  • Individual player program available
  • The NSC is a multipurpose facility; teams may be required to play on alternate days.

Adult Rules and Procedures

Adult Team Check-In Process

Referee will obtain the official team roster of each team from the Sports Hall Monitor prior to each game. Prior to kick-off the referee will line teams up and check them in. Each player must present a photo ID to the referee before they are allowed to enter the game. During the check-in procedure, the player must also show the referee what jersey number they will be using for that game. Goalies are not required to have numbers. If a player is late to the game they must check- in with the Sports Hall Monitor in the office.

Adult Rules

  • All Adult teams are required to have numbers on shirts for every game.  Numbers may be taped on shirt if necessary.
  • All Adult players must present photo ID to the referee prior to kick-off.
  • Referees will check-in teams from the roster. They will match ID to rostered player and their number. If player is wearing a different number the referee will write the correct number on the roster.
  • Violent conduct will not be tolerated. Players may be suspended for more than one game or suspended from the league if the director deems appropriate.
  • All Red cards will be kept on record. Repeat occurrences of red cards by the same player may result in multi game or season suspension.
  • Teams may ask rostered players from other teams to sub if they are not able to field a team. Team must get approval from opponent in order to do so.  Substitute player must be added to game roster that the referee has and team manager of opponent must sign and date the roster by the name indicating this is approved by their team and the game results will stand and it is not a forfeit.
  • If team does not approve allowing the subs, the player’s name and their number will still need to be written on roster and “No” written by the player’s name.  The game will be recorded as a 3-0 win for the team not using unrostered subs.
