The Stick it to Cancer Tournament is a benefit to support the fight against breast cancer. Each team volunteers a combined total of six hours, and all refrees donate their time to tournament operations, resulting in an even larger donation to cancer research. In 2012 the University of Minnesota Cancer Center was the designated donation recipient, receiving $85,000 of the proceeds for this event. Come join more than 100 teams as they skate in support of family and friends in their fight against breast cancer.

Fees

  • Youth – $595, plus $35 per player gate fee
  • Adult - $595, plus $100 per team gate fee

Application Deadline

March 12, 2013 or until brackets fill

Divisions Offered

Youth teams will play in their 2012-2013 season age division, according to Minnesota Hockey.  

  • Girls U8 -   7/1/2003 to 6/30/2010
  • Girls U10 - 7/1/2001 to 6/30/2003
  • Girls U12 - 7/1/1999 to 6/30/2001 
  • Girls U14 - 7/1/1997 to 6/30/1999 
  • Girls U16 - 7/1/1995 to 6/30/1997 
  • Women's A
  • Women's BI
  • Women's BII 
  • Women's CI
  • Women's CII 
  • Women's CIII

Volunteer Requirement

Each team must provide two volunteers to work in the score box at each of their games. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Contact Spencer Arvold, tournament co-director, for more information on volunteers, donations, sponsorship and vendors at 763.717.3234.
