The Minnesota Twins, in partnership with the National Sports Center, bring you the third year of providing amateur athletes a way to continue developing their baseball skills in the offseason in the NSC Sports Hall.
Offseason training at the NSC allows players an opportunity to continue to develop their skills when they are not able to be outside, as well as prepare for next season's tryouts. The Minnesota Twins Training Academy offers both pitching and hitting instruction twice a week in three and four week long sessions. Players may pick pitching, hitting, catching or infield instruction or combine disciplines.
The Twins will be offering Junior sessions for 10-13 years old, Senior sessions for ages 14-18 and a Twins Strength and Conditioning Program.

Receive major league instruction at Twins Training Camps! The winter edition of the Twins Training Camps provides players an opportunity to continue developing their skills as well as prepare for tryouts and the start of the new baseball season. The mission of the Minnesota Twins Baseball Training Camps is to provide Upper Midwest youth with quality baseball instruction at an affordable price in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
Twins Training Camps cater to athletes wanting to improve their baseball skills in a serious instructional setting. Twins personnel as well as top college and high school coaches will provide instruction. The instructional staff is very experienced and dedicated to helping youth develop their skills. A large and experienced staff ensures a low player-to-coach ratio, so players receive the attention they need to develop.
The 2014-2015 winter edition of Twins Training Camps features one, two-day camp and two, one-day camps. All camps are at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.
Twins Training Camps are open to youth ages 8 to 15. Camps address general baseball skills including hitting, defense, throwing and pitching. Players will go through hitting drills designed to correct flaws and improve swings; defensive drills including infield and outfield work; and throwing drills designed to teach players the correct way to throw to gain velocity, accuracy and avoid arm injuries. For younger players, emphasis is placed on fundamentals and intermediate skills. For players over 13 years old, instructors will introduce and focus on more advanced training.
