ADULT GOLF LEAGUE RULES/FORMAT
Format of Play
- » Individual 9-hole play rotating between the front 9 and back 9.
- » Points awarded each week based on a player’s finish. For example, if 20 people play that night, 19 points for 1st place, 18 points for 2nd place, etc.
- » We will play a NET modified stableford (see explanation below)
- » We will always use HDCPs. If a player does not have an established handicap they will play as a scratch that night.
- » Chance to win flag events each week such as long drive, closest to the flag, etc.
- » At the end of the season, gift certificates will be awarded based on total points accumulated.
- » You or your sub MUST PLAY in at least 19 of the 21 events to be eligible for this money.
Guests
Guests are always welcome to play with you during league night, assuming there is room in your tee time. They would simply pay the regular 9-hole rate of $23.50. They are not eligible to win prizes.
Subs
You may use a sub in your place for league night. The sub would pay the regular 9-hole rate of $23.50 for a green fee. Sub points will be credited to you. If they do not have an established HDCP they will play as a scratch.
Extra Play
If you would like to come early on league day and play an extra 9-holes, the fee is an additional $15.00/green fee and $5.00/cart.
Modified Stableford
- » Play and score a regular round for posting, but keep a separate NET point tally. NET score as follows: Double Eagle=6; Eagle=5; Birdies=4 points; Pars=3 points Bogeys=2 points; Double; Bogie=1; Other=0 point
- » Here's a sample round: player A scored 1 NET birdie (4 points); 1 par (3 points); 3 bogeys (6 points); 4 double bogeys (4 points).
- » Player A earned 17 points plus a point for each player he beat in the field.
