SPIRIT OF THE WILD YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUE

High School Spring League: March 18-May 10, 2007

 

This youth hockey league is for boys in Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam divisions and high school, and girls in U10, U12, U14 divisions and high school. The Spirit of the Wild runs spring and fall leagues.

Youth League Features

  • »  Eight full-ice games
  • »  Two playoff games
  • »  Three “you build-it” ice-times (practice, scrimmage, cross-ice games, pick-up hockey, specialized clinic)

Boys and Girls High School League Features

  • »  Ten league games (1.5 hour time slots for all games)
  • »  Two playoff games
  • »  One team practice
  • »  Free introductory session to the new Herb Brooks Training Center
  • »  Teams, groups, and individual sign-up
  • »  Team jerseys provided
  • »  Additional ice available at special program rate
  • »  Additional Herb Brooks Training Center Development Sessions at special program rate

League Divisions

  • Boys' Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam

  • » A Division: Top level of play for players who are expected to compete at the A or B1 traveling level
  • » B Division : For players who are expected to compete at the B1 or B2 traveling level. An exciting division for accomplished players with advanced skills and a good understanding of team concepts.
  • »  C Division : For players who are expected to compete at the C traveling or house level. The central is a fun and challenging division for teams with novice skill abilities at their level of play.
  • Girls' U10, U12, U14

  • »  A Division : Top level of play for players who are expected to compete at the A traveling level.
  • »  B Division : Players who are expected to compete at the B traveling level. An exciting division for accomplished players with advanced skills and a good understanding of team concept.
  • Boys' High School 5v5 Check League

  • »  Three 22-minute periods.
  • »  National: Top level of play for players who are expected to compete at the varsity high school level.
  • »  American: Players who are expected to compete at the junior varsity high school level and players who have completed bantam level hockey.
  • Girls' High School 5v5

  • »  Three 22-minute periods.
  • »  National: Players who are expected to compete at the varsity high school level
  • »  American: Players who are expected to compete at the junior varsity high school level and players who have completed U14 level hockey.

Fees

  • »  Youth League: $145 per player, no roster minimum
  • »  High School League: $185 per player, no roster minimum
  • »  Individual: $145 per player Youth; $185 per high school player. Individual placement is not guaranteed. Refund of individual application fee if not placed on a team.

Venues

Majority of games will be played at Schwan Super Rink. Other local arenas used as necessary.
