"Hi Jackie!  Well we had the best time this weekend!  My daughter was the only player to raise money on her team (in memory of my mother) and, how fitting, the team (Ice Hounds, 14 National) won the championship tie-breaker because of the money. I am sadly disappointed that the team did not put more effort into this wonderful cause, but we are touched that Dory (Johnson) had the best goalie record and only let in one goal all weekend and got to be a part of a wonderful cause. Several teams always ask her to be the goalie, and next year, whoever she plays with I will be the team donation leader. Thank you for putting on such a wonderful tournament—LOVED the pink ice! I am proudly wearing my “Stick-It” sweatshirt today and thanking all my friends…and today would have been my mother’s birthday."
