One Gear.  No Brakes.  Pure Speed!

Track cycling is the most exciting sport on two wheels.  From the pure adrenaline of the sprints to the artistry and skill of the Madison, track cyclists provide a show like no other.  And there’s no better place to witness this spectacle than the National Sports Center Velodrome.  Our world class facility boasts some of the finest racing in the US.  We’ve hosted Olympic Trials, National Championships and have been the site of World records!

 

2008 brings national elite cycling back to the NSC Velodrome. On June 7-8, Olympic and professional athletes will compete on our hardwood.  August 8-9 brings the Midwest Sprint Challenge. And every Thursday from May 22-September 11, our local athletes chase their dreams (and each other) for glory in our Thursday Night Lights series.

 

The NSC Velodrome offers great racing, great entertainment and a great carnival atmosphere.  Whether you’re here with friends, family or a group event, you’ll be thrilled by excitement on the track.  You’ll want to try it yourself.  Don’t be shy!  We offer lots of options to learn, no matter your experience level.
