Looking for ways to keep your kid active through hybrid and online schools? The NSC After School programs are here for you!

REGISTRATION SYSTEM

NSC Event HQ. This system will streamline your enrollment process and give you more access to your customer account. Use this system to register for Intro to Soccer I, II, or III.

If this is your first time using the system, you will need to create a NSC Event HQ Household Account.  The account owner must be 18 years of age or older.  

After you have created your account, verify your email and set up your password. You can then add your spouse and/or children as “participants”.  Click here to get started.

COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

One spectator per player will be allowed for this event in the NSC Sports Hall, dome, and Sports Expo. (Does not include team leader or coach).

Please note this includes provide shorter breaks between games against opponents, to reduce ‘down time” in between games for teams. This includes scheduling games back to back depending on the format of each division.

Four tips to remember:

  1. If you feel sick, please stay home.
  2. All attendees are asked to wear a mask, unless they are actively participating in a game.
  3. Signage will be posted on campus to remind people of guidelines.
  4. Our facility staff will help keep public spaces clean and sanitized throughout the event.

After School Soccer Program

After School Soccer is a recreational program that aim to assist students that are currently having hybrid and online school delivery method and missing the opportunities for fitness, interaction, and motor skills development. Besides introducing young players to the basic fundamental skills of soccer such as passing, shooting, receiving the ball, and running with the ball, it focuses on social interaction and fun! All levels incorporate soccer skills with motor, physical, mental and social skills in a positive environment. 

Features:

  • Low participant to instructor ratio
  • Soccer shoes, tennis shoes or similar type athletic shoes recommended
  • Athletic clothes

After School Spanish Immersion Program

The Spanish Immersion program is led by licensed professional educators ensuring a high-quality immersion language experience through movement. This program tries to fill the gap for students that are hybrid and online and missing the interaction necessary to develop a new language.

This program offer fun activities for students to interact and learn through sports samples and fun activities!

Dates, Times, and Location

Soccer Session I: Mondays, November 30 - December 21 in the NSC Indoor Sports Hall from 3:30pm - 5:00pm

Spanish Immersion Session I: Wednesdays, December 2 - December 23 in the NSC Sports Hall from 3:30pm - 5:00pm

Program Fee

  • $75 per participant

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not issued for canceled registrations. Canceled registrations can be transferred to a future session.

Program Cancelation Policy: The following policy will be enacted IF a program hosted by the National Sports Center MUST be canceled by the directives of the State of Minnesota or the Minnesota Department of Health. Please know that our top priority on making decisions moving forward will be the safety and health of our participants, coaches, employees, and spectators.

Participants will receive a refund for your program entry. Participant registration refunds will be processed at 100% of the registration total. Refunds will be credited to your account by no later than December 31, 2021.

*Please note that if a participant elects to drop prior to the program, the above voucher policy will be in effect. This includes participants making their own decision to withdraw prior to the potential cancellation.

Surcharge Fee

  • The National Sports Center has instituted a 2% surcharge on all submitted card payments to help cover a portion of the processing fees assessed to the NSC by the card processing companies. Customers can avoid the fee by registering online and paying with an e-check.

The NSC Fund For Play is the contribution and donation arm of the National Sports Center Foundation.
