COVID-19 Update

The National Sports Center has suspended activities on campus as of Sunday, March 15. Activities are planned to resume on Saturday, May 2. Further information and updates can be found on the NSC blog.

A new college showcase tournament - show off your talent and get spotted

Showcase your team's talent at the new National Sports Center College Showcase Weekend.

Tournament Details

  • Girls Weekend April 4-5
    • Games will be accommodated around ACT testing on Saturday April 4 by request
  • Boys Weekend April 18-19
  • Fall Weekend November 7-8
  • Showcase tournament for players to be seen by College Coaches
  • All games played on the new artificial turf fields at the NSC Stadium
  • Limited number of teams accepted.
  • Midwest Conference/Great Lakes Conference Games can be played at the tournament.

16U-19U Flight Features

  • Played on the artificial fields of the world's largest soccer complex
  • Three 80 minute games guaranteed
  • Three-person referee system (16U-19U)
  • Teams will be matched up against like competition

Tournament Fees

  • 16U-19U: $1000
  • Refund Policy: March 26 - Current NSC Refund Policy: HERE

Weather Cancellation Policy. If cancellation of the entire tournament occurs due to spring weather conditions, each team will receive a voucher in the amount of the tournament fees and may be used for 2020 events only. This does not apply to weather delays, shortened, rescheduled and/or cancellation of tournament games after event has began.

Tournament Rules

  • Glasses: It is recommend for those who wear glasses to wear a strap or sports-type glasses to participate in games. The referee has the authority to determine if the glasses can be worn.
  • Casts: It is recommended for those who have a hard or soft cast to wrap it with bubble wrap and an ace bandage. Prior to the game check with the referee. The referee has the authority to determine if they can play with the cast.

Team Eligibility

FINAL TEAM CHECK-IN

Saturday morning of tournament

  • Location: Welcome Center
  • Time: 90 minutes prior to the team’s first game

Guidelines

  • A representative must check in 90 minutes before the team’s first game.
  • Physical Player passes are required at check-in and before each game. Copies are not accepted.
  • Physical coach passes are required at check-in and before each game. Copies are not accepted.
  • Arrange player passes in the same order as your roster for faster check-in.
  • Rosters will be frozen at this time and player passes credentialed.

The National Sports Center has frequent opportunities for competitive vendors to support campus events. Below you will find information regarding how to get started in applying to be a vendor.

Instructions

A completed vendor request form is required for your company to be entered in the National Sports Center’s Vendor Directory. Please provide all data applicable to your company. You may submit this form electronically or print and fax to 763.785.3660.

NOTE: Submitting this form does NOT guarantee that you will be selected as a vendor. The National Sports Center will contact you upon receipt of your completed document.
