The Assistant Campus Operations Manager will oversee and manage a staff of 20-25 Operations team members, perform facility management duties and work to improve the front-line customer experience for our guests. Duties include but are not limited to: staff scheduling and assignment; department communication; facility event logistics; hands-on operational support, such as setting up and tearing down events; coordinating with event operators and user groups. This position will report directly to the NSC Director of Operations and will be responsible for managing the logistics and day-to-day operations of facility events.
Bachelor’s Degree in management or up to 5 years of experience in facilities management (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

The National Sports Center / Super Rink, Blaine Minnesota is hiring for a part time Front Desk worker.
Front desk staff play a key role in creating a fun, energetic and family environment at the Super Rink. Front desk staff are a constant support for the guests whether working as a Front Desk Cashier, Answering Phone Calls, Birthday Party Support, Ice Monitor, Skate Rental, or simply answering questions and assisting guests as needed.

-Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment and maintenance facility.
-Performs any assigned duty before, during, and after an event.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
-Knowledge of golf course and sports field maintenance practices.
-Knowledge of the occupational hazards and the proper use of safety practices.
-Ability to operate various pieces of maintenance equipment.
-Ability to understand and carry out instructions to complete work assignments correctly and efficiently.
-Ability to perform manual labor, including standing, sitting, kneeling, and bending for an extended period of time, under various conditions.
-Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
-Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, rain, and snow.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and employees within all departments.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
-Previous experience on a golf course or sports field, but not required.
-Knowledge and safe operation of maintenance equipment or ability to learn.

Title: NSC General Maintenance Custodian
Assignment: NSC Super Rink/Indoor Facilities
Reports to: Ice Arena Operations Manager
Competencies: The ability to keep the ice arena building in a clean and sanitary condition.
Boundaries: Primary hours will be weekdays and weekends at the Super Rink based on event needs
· Maintain cleanliness of all rest rooms, locker rooms, offices, meeting space and common rooms.
· Maintains a clean working environment.
· Assist staff with needs of the building with set up and take down.
· Ability to communicate with staff on projects and inventory management.
Additional Duties As Assigned
· Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Operations and Operations Manager
Education/Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience working in janitorial or operations setting.
Classification: Part time (30 – 40 hours) weekly
Terms of Employment: At will

The National Sports Center (NSC) and Next Level Spanish Immersion Camp in Blaine, Minnesota is hiring multiple (3) interns for the summer of 2021.
Interns will assist in the administrative organization and delivery of the Next Level Spanish Immersion Camps, a week long day camp for students entering grades 1-6 that are attending a Spanish Immersion schools. Next Level Spanish Immersion Camp interns must be fluent Spanish speakers. This internship opportunity is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in K-12 education, or careers where Spanish language fluency is necessary.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Start date is July 21. Interns should expect to work 40+ per week. Interns demonstrate a flexible and “How can I help” mindset. Interns MUST be available to work:
The last day of the internship will be Friday, August 20th. All positions are available for course credit as approved by your institution. All positions are paid a bi-weekly stipend based on a $12/hourly rate.

Interns from outside of Minnesota have the opportunity to stay in our on-campus dormitory housing during their summer internship for a nominal fee.
The National Sports Center (NSC) in Blaine, Minnesota is hiring a dorm advisor for Target USA CUP 2021.
During Target USA CUP soccer tournament; dorms provide a campus living experience for some of the International and United States athletes. We are seeking responsible candidates who will bring diverse backgrounds, are multi-lingual and have outgoing personalities for these positions. As an advisor, you will serve as the immediate contact for individuals in your assigned dorm, answer questions, coordinate transportation, and enforce policies. You must also stay in the dorm you are assigned for the full duration of the tournament and be readily available at all hours.
This position will be from July 6-19, 2021. Candidates should be flexible with time. This position will receive stipend pay based on commensurate of experience.

The NSC is looking for quality officials for our Adult Flag Football League. The league plays a 6v6 format with two officials. Officials do not need to be certified but some experience in football officiating is required. All games are played on the National Sports Center campus. League games are played Thursdays at 9, 10, and 11pm.

The NSC Super Rink is looking for part-time Ice Resufacer Operators to give a great experience to all of our customers. Operators will take guidance from our managers and supervisors to maintain the building, resurface the ice on time according to schedule, assist with maintaining the equipment and maintain the cleanliness of the building.
