The first step in hockey development is learning how to skate, obviously! The Schwan Super Rink Skating School offers skating development programs year-round and will teach skaters the fundamentals to then move into playing hockey. Classes range from beginner to advanced.
Intro Mites is designed to improve player skills and teach the great game of hockey. This program offers stage one for players ages 4-6.
Rookies Small Area Games brings the game to the kids. The program is designed for boys and girls ages 6-8 who have one year of hockey experience.

This unique adult skills clinic is open to all skill levels, both male and female. The emphasis is on both individual player development and team player development.
Getting your skaters out at such a young age is very beneficial for learning edges, battling and puck handling in a fun environment. Kids will be separated by skill level, not age. In this program the coaches will take the time to make the corrections, rather than rushing though the drills.
