2016 Boys' Schwan Cup champions crowned

Four champions were crowned 2016 Schwan Cup high school hockey tournament on Saturday, December 31 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. Schwan Cup is the National Sports Center's premier high school hockey tournament, and it attracts many of the top teams in the state.

Here are the championship results:

Open Division: Minnehaha Academy 5, Chaska 3.

Bronze Division: Blake 3, Minneapolis 2.

Silver Division: Breck 2, St. Michael-Albertville 2. (Breck wins championship by winning OT shootout 1-0)

Gold Division: Edina 4, St. Thomas Academy 2.
