The City of Blaine reconstruction project for 105th Ave NE through the National Sports Center campus continues, and it will affect traffic and parking access for the USA International Hockey Cup and the All American Cup soccer tournament, June 14-17. Here are the pro-tips for minimizing your parking and traffic hassles.

Here are the open automobile access points to the campus south of 105th Ave NE, including the Schwan Super Rink:

  • At Victory Links Golf Course.
  • Eastbound 105th, at the access road to the Welcome Center and Schwan Super Rink, or at the Victory Links Golf Course.
  • Westbound 105th – No left turn the Super Rink access road. Turn left at Davenport St. and then left into the main lot between Centerview Elementary School (under construction) and the Velodrome.

Watch for this sign to enter the parking lot off 109th Ave NE.

A new paved pedestrian path along the north side of 105th Ave NE will be ready for the All American Cup soccer tournament, June 15-17.

Here are the access points to parking lots and fields on the north side of 105th Ave NE:

  1. The traffic light at Davenport St./105th Ave NE will be operating.
  2. No access in or out to the north side of the campus from 105th Ave NE, due to ongoing construction.
  3. Access is open to parking lots on the north side (Lots D and E) from Davenport St.
  4. Please observe the no parking signs in and around Parking Lots D and E. Blaine Police will be ticketing cars parked on the grass, along the access roads, or in any space that is not a designated parking space.
  5. There is additional parking east of the P fields (Lot G.) Right-in, right-out access by a road off 109th Ave NE (signed with a sign that says “Extra Parking”.)
