Fall Cup will feature 314 teams from seven states and provinces
Blaine, Minn. (October 5, 2018) – The National Sports Center (NSC) in Blaine will host its final outdoor soccer tournament of the 2018 season this weekend, October 6-7. The Fall Cup tournament will welcome 314 teams in the U9-U15 divisions. Teams are coming Iowa, Manitoba, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ontario, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Fall Cup will be the third largest soccer tournament this year at the NSC, behind USA CUP (1,150 teams) and Spring Cup (342 teams).
Games will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, with playoffs and championship games scheduled throughout Sunday.
This may be the final outdoor soccer tournament of the year, but outdoor events will continue at the NSC into November. The Amplify Lacrosse Tournament will be held October 12-14. The Kris Lindahl Realty Pumpkin Giveaway is coming up October 13. And Minnesota United FC academy teams have home games in the NSC Stadium on October 7, 14 and November 3.
