The 2018 NAPHL Showcase took place at Schwan Super Rink from Friday, Nov. 30 to Monday, Dec. 3. The showcase brought in over 60 teams nationwide, competing at the 14U, 15U, 16U and 18U level.
The National Sports Center hosts five different North American Hockey League Showcase events each year, from September to February, with teams participating at different ages and levels. All have one thing in common. Teams travel to Blaine from all over the U.S., and the visitor economic impact these NAHL events produce is impressive. This single NAPHL weekend event, for example, produced a visitor economic impact of $3 million. Last year, the five NAHL events together produced a total economic impact to the local economy of $14.9 million.
